I've been operating at the intersection of highly regulated industries, policy, and politics for over 20 years as a communications executive, public policy professional and journalist. I currently lead communications and corporate affairs at Daily Harvest, a company that makes it convenient to enjoy more sustainably grown, organic fruits and vegetables every day.

For nearly seven years, I held a similar role at food tech company Eat Just, where I secured and managed global top-tier media coverage, spearheaded award-winning campaigns and established key policymaker and stakeholder relationships for the company's industry-changing food brands, JUST Egg and GOOD Meat.

Recently, I’ve begun advising early-stage startups on projects ranging from launch communications and corporate storytelling to crisis management and executive thought leadership. Contributing to the growth and success of innovative ventures that want to change our world for the better has been personally fulfilling and professionally rewarding.

Previously, at tech mogul and philanthropist Sean Parker’s civic engagement startup Brigade — and in formative early years for Uber and Facebook — I implemented and oversaw public relations and marketing campaigns as well as grassroots advocacy efforts and partnerships involving industry, government, nonprofit and academic stakeholders.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a staff writer for National Journal Group covering Capitol Hill and federal agencies and was an active freelance feature writer for a number of regional and national magazines. I was also an occasional guest on C-SPAN and other public affairs programming and served on the adjunct faculty at American University’s School of Communication.
